Is 15 Micron Right for Your Load?
Not every load needs heavy film, so here’s the honest check. 15 micron suits lighter, stable loads that stack evenly. Think cartons, boxed retail stock, furniture, and general storage. It also works for bundling odd items and patching up a wrap that’s come loose.

Black or Clear — Which to Choose
Two colours, and the choice is about what you want people to see. Black stretch wrap is fully opaque, so it hides the load. That’s the pick for valuable or confidential stock, and for pallets sat in an open yard. Clear stretch film does the opposite. You can see the goods and scan barcodes or read labels without unwrapping.

How to Wrap a Pallet So It Holds
A tight wrap is all in the technique. Here’s how to do it right:
- Tie the film in at the base, catching a corner of the pallet.
- Wrap two firm turns to anchor it.
- Spiral up the load, overlapping each pass by about half.
- Keep the film stretched as you go, so it grips tight.
- Finish at the top and tuck the loose tail under a layer.
Works fine by hand, or quicker with a dispenser.
